INTERNSHIP OPTIONS AND COST
Option #1 - Degree Track
This track allows you to get a 2 year Associates of Arts degree or a 4 year Bachelor of Arts degree with SAGU (Southwestern Assemblies of God University).
Cost: Annual TOTAL cost is $7,220 for 24 hrs of college credit (12 each semester) This total includes:
$60 Academic Fee Per Semester
$500 Annual Site Fee (TFA Church Leadership College)
This option cost is the Partner site tuition discount for SAGU. Federal Financial Aid (FAFSA) is available. Monthly payments can be made as well.

Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU) is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award degrees. SAGU Thibodaux is not accredited by SACS Commission on Colleges and the accreditation of SAGU does not extend to or include (Local Site) or its students. Students must be admitted by SAGU and enrolled in university courses to receive the benefits of regional accreditation.
Option #2 - LASOM Track
This track follows the Louisiana District of the Assemblies of God School of Ministry calendar, August - May. One class can be taken per month and is counted toward ministerial certification/licensing. A required one time per month in person class in New Orleans or Woodworth is required for this track.
Cost: Monthly cost is $65 per month/class.

Option #3 - Enrichment Track
This track does not require graded academic work, however, classes and assignments will be in place to challenge the students.

No, students are encouraged find a part-time job to cover expenses of living.
You will have a weekly internship schedule that will include:
• Prayer/Journaling
• Study Hall
• Chapel Services
• Fall & Spring Enrichment Classes
• Monthly Leadership Meetings
• Outreaches
• Family Dinners
• Outside Hangouts/Fun
Meals are paid by the student, however, we get together for Family Nights with free food provided every so often with no expense to the student.
No, housing is not provided on campus, however, because Thibodaux is already a college town, there are many options for apartment rentals.
Yes. You will be able to work as long as it does not conflict with your internship schedule.
Yes. Some of the responsibilities of our interns require them to have a reliable form of transportation.
Yes. You will need a laptop to complete regular assignments both for educational purposes and enrichment classes.
The ideal age is 18-25 years old.
Yes. If you are 18 or older you will be required to complete a background check.
No. You will be utilized in almost every ministry area of our church. However, if you have a calling or gifting in a certain area we will help you develop in that area more.
